Men's Journal Ranks 2014 Santa Cruz Bronson R AM 27.5 as One of Four Best 27.5 MTBs
Santa Cruz released this 27.5 bike to meet the demands of enduro racing, which melds downhill with singletrack. To attack that huge range of terrain, the Bronson gets six inches of suspension travel – that's a lot of absorption.
It takes straight downhills like a champ, too, and is so playful every trail you attack will feel like a ride at Six Flags. It handled every piece of terrain we threw at it: This bike gobbles up rocks, plows over roots, and laughs off divots like they're invisible.
From Santacruzbicycles.com: An entirely new frame, new wheel size and new perspective on what a 6” travel bike can conquer. Bronson is not some rehashed 27.5" tribute act to anything else in our range. With a 67° head angle and 150mm travel yet massive uphill capability, Bronson screamed onto the scene like a Group B rally car for the Syndicate’s Enduro World Series campaign.
